Clean beauty has no legal definition. So what does it mean? Each brand and retailer sets its own standard. Most leave out certain preservatives, plasticizers and undisclosed fragrance. Natural isn't automatically better, or synthetic automatically harmful. Look for short, readable labels and brands that explain their choices. We try to be one. Shop with clear eyes.
